Up For Car Sales Still
It would seem that after the car scrappage scheme ended there was a big prediction that the sales of new cars would plummet by a lot but it would seem that it has done quite the opposite as for the tenth consecutive month it would seem car sales are on the up!.
A massive increase was seen last month despite the scrappage system ending in March, new car sales have risen by 11.5%. These figures have helped the society of motor manufacturers and traders to take a look at the yearly forecast that they did at the beginning of the year and make a bit of a change to it, this is good news indeed.
The one problem with this is that it is still very early to make any proper decision, this means that the effects of the end of the scrappage scheme and of course the VAT increase may not have actually come into effect as of yet. Last month was a good one for the sales of new cars there is no doubt about that but it was the slowest one in 2010 so far.
People are really wondering on whether it is worth buying a new car now`? Many of the sellers now know that it is going to be very hard indeed to sell cars which is why the price war begins and consumers can take advantage of this. This is great for the consumer because although the recession has been deemed as over there are many people still short on money.
I would say that the best time to get a new car is sooner rather than later because if the industry does pick up again you will be looking at an increase in prices.
On top of this there are many deals on car accessories especially on things such as pressure washers and satellite navigation.
