how do i mount a car accessory switch in the dash?
i have a switch for my car amplifier’s remote input so that i can shut off the amp manually. i know where all the wires attach to i just dont know how to mount it in my dash. ive looked everywhere for a decent answer but all the pages ive been to just show you how the wires attach and say “now mount it.” then they go on with something else. plz help
If you are talking about just a common flip switch which is used for fog lights and so on I think I can help. All you have to do is drill a small hole in your dash or counsel. Once you have the hole drilled just pull your wire through it and attach it to the switch. The switch should have a wing nut or some type of tightening nut. put the switch in and tighten the nut onto it.
