Is it appropriate to get my ex a 16th birthday gift if we’re still friends?
I want to get my friend something for his 16th birthday present that’s a John Deere related car accessory. We dated twice a while ago but we’re still really good friends(He’s my best friend) He has a new girlfriend though, so is it still okay to get him something? I’d really like to because I love giving him gifts because I know him so well and he always loves them and gets really happy. I’m also thinking of making a pie(he doesn’t like cake) and a 2 liter of mtn dew(His favorite) Would it be too much?

The pie is kind of a joke; we always make fun of him for not liking cake but he goes insane over pie(plus he’s also my sisters friend and that part is a combined gift)
Sometimes it depends on the girlfriend. If she is a jealous type or doesn’t like you anyway, it would not be a good idea. If she understands that it’s not a sign that you want to get in between them, than go for it. If she gets the wrong idea though, you could be in for some unneeded drama. Hope that helps!
