Car accessories are a relatively trivial group of products but they have a massive following. the car customisation craze, lead by media like Max Power magazine and The Fast and Furious films. Of course these films weren’t based on the subculture surrounding window stickers and car air fresheners, rather the cars themselves.
Of course keen youngsters want a part of the action and emulate their idols, so they congregate around Halford’s car park showing off how loud their speakers can go and what not. Car accessories are great and sometimes be useful, but most of the time I find they’re a little pointless. Bearing this in mind I began making a list of accessories that were really useful. Car security like immobiliser alarms and tracking systems are also very useful, not just as deterrents to thieves who want to steal your car accessories from the online car shop but also as genuinely useful devices for getting you vehicle back if you unlucky enough to have it stolen. So are car accessories useful? The answer is yes, some of them. It pays to be sparing with the amount of accessories you have in your car, too many can be distracting to a degree that could put you in danger. I challenge you strip out all the gadgets you have now and see if your driving experience is any poorer for it.
