97 Dodge Neon – Wont Start?
My ’97Dodge Neon will not start. I thought the battery might have been drained (I might have left my iPod playing while connected to the cigarette lighter) but all the accessories turn on just fine (all lights as well). I attempted to jump it but nothing and now the car dos not even make the attempt to turn over.
You have a bad starter. Get a volt meter and with the key on check to see if there is voltage at the starter.Connect the volt meter to the big wire on the starter .
If there is 12 volts or more, have someone turn the key and see if the voltage drops. If so the starter is shot
