Still Looking Up For Car Sales
It would seem that after the car scrappage scheme ended there was a big prediction that the sales of new cars would plummet by a lot but it would seem that it has done quite the opposite as for the tenth consecutive month it would seem car sales are on the up!.
The scheme itself ended at the very end of March but with this in mind it would seem that April has brought a rise in new car registrations, a massive increase of 11.5%. These figures have helped the society of motor manufacturers and traders to take a look at the yearly forecast that they did at the beginning of the year and make a bit of a change to it, this is good news indeed.
Do not hold your hopes too high though because this is still very early on in the year and a lot of people are thinking that after the full effects of the end of the scheme and the tax rises come into place then people will be thinking twice again before buying a new car. Although last month was a good one it was still a lot slower than previous months in 2010 and this is what is concerning a lot of people out there.
So is it worth buying a new car now that the car scrappage scheme is actually over? Well although there may be tax increases and the car scrappage scheme is over it would seem that price wars have begun and consumers can take advantage of this. This is great for the consumer because although the recession has been deemed as over there are many people still short on money.
Go out there and look for a new car sooner rather than later because if the industry does start to rise up again you will see increases in prices.
On top of this there are many deals on car accessories especially on things such as pressure washers and satellite navigation.
