Child & Spousal Support & Divorce?

My soon to be ex is refusing to continue with support payments until we either have a signed separation agreement or it is court ordered. Since we split 6 months ago, he has purchased a new Mercedes, new teeth, changed the rims on the new car, been to Vegas, and spent close to 20k on just wardrobe and accessories. My question is: Does the court take into consideration his lifestyle and spending habits when deciding on how much he should pay in support? AND will he have to pay for the months that he did not provide any support?

No they base child support on his income and your income, if he has any other kids he is supporting, like financial hardships for him. Yes he has to pay back child support also, so make sure you keep track and reciepts of everything. Documentation is very important
