I somehow killed the accessories in my Mitsubishi EVO IX after trying to troubleshoot my aftermarket radio.?
I had static, even with my head unit turned off. So I figured I would disconnect my in-line fuse to the radio to isolate the radio. But then the inside lights, including the clock, failed to come on. Also, my remote locks don’t work. Even when I put the fuse back in, the radio and lights don’t come on. The door locks work only when the car is running. The fuses in the passenger compartment are OK. The fuses in the engine compartment don’t come out with the tool that comes with the car. Thanks in advance for any info you may have, even general stuff on other cars!
You just blew the fuse of the instrumental lightning or the accesories fuse. Get the car’s manual and look for the accesories fuse or radio (red 10A), or instrumental lights, and check them if they are broken in the middle they ‘re blown. For the engine compartment use a small clippler but be careful to not brake the fuse. If you can’t finde them check them all.
