Golfing Cart Electronics
If you have had your golf cart for any length of time, you’ve probably thought about adding a few accessories to it. Golfing car gadgets can really liven up your golfing car experience. Passenger cars have global positioning systems, heating, air conditioning, radios, and a host of other electronic options. Why not add some of these great electronic features to your golf cart as well? In this post I’ll talk about several of the electronics you may want to add to your golf cart. I’ll also tell you about the advantages and drawbacks of having each of these in your golf cart.
There are many upper echelon golf courses that have gps systems installed in their golfing carts. With these systems in your golf cart you can tell exactly where you are on the golf course and how far you hit the ball. You will always know where you are in relation to the hole. If your not using these on the golf course, they can still be helpful. For instance, you may find your self using your golf cart to get around town. Having a gps on the cart will help give you directions to places you have not been to before, or have simply forgotten how to get to. The additional battery drain of the gps system is really the only bad part of having a gps system installed in your golf car.
Another basic electronic to have would be a stereo. Having a stereo on the golf course might cause some trouble, but if you are using your golfing cart in most other situations, a radio might be a nice addition. The obvious advantage to this one is that you get to listen to music. The only real drawback would be that you could not play it on a golf course without other golfers getting angry with you.
Air conditioning and heating can be great for your in town playing golf carts. Its also pleasant for golfing carts that are used inside of large community facilities. You will find that your gas or battery can be drained quickly when you have your heating or air conditioning blasting. Also you’ll have to make sure your golfing cart is enclosed, which can take some of the excitement out of them.
